After you finish watching “Capitalism: A Love Story” and reading Strategy #1 Make A Commitment To Change Your Life,

Now, I would like you to conduct your own research to uncover other instances where profits are made from poverty. Take a close look around your own neighborhood to determine who owns the businesses and if these businesses benefit the residents in a positive way or not. After doing this, I would like you to reflect on Capitalism A Love Story, (the documentary you watched in last week's module), read Strategies 1 and 2 in the text, A Farewell to Welfare, then decide: ARE YOU READY TO MAKE A COMMITMENT TO IMPROVE YOUR FAMILY'S LIFE? If so, post your Declaration of Commitment (Page #56 of A Farewell to Welfare) and give a brief description of why you are declaring to improve your family's life.
